Ryan was very professional at the store and at our house. He was honest about what his team could do and they did it. He answered all the questions we had and helped us pick out the perfect stones for our hearth. His team did a fantastic job taking down the brick facade and hearth with a small jack hammer and fixed all the surrounding area perfectly. We love our two new fireplaces and very much recommend Walnut Creek Fireplace.
I needed a little customization for my fireplace insert which the competition couldn’t provide. The whole thing went flawlessly and the field guy, although he didn’t speak much English, he was skilled, conscientious and pleasant. Ryan came out previously and clearly knew what he was doing. The whole thing exceeded my expectations. We are really enjoying the unit. It looks good and it pumps out heat.
The entire process was wonderful from walking into the showroom through the installation process. We love our new fireplace insert and are thrilled we got this done to enjoy during the recent stormy weather.
The people at Walnut Creek Fireplace are welcoming and friendly. Damon understands all the product details and installation needs for Regency Fireplace inserts. I enjoyed talking with him and he answered all my questions with the information I needed to make a decision. Damon prepared the quote for the unit I wanted, including the installation cost, in just a few minutes. The electrician needed about two hours on one day. The Fireplace was then installed and made operational in less than four hours. All the work was done professionally and without leaving a mess. Walnut Creek Fireplace is the Best.
Our project was to replace the original fireplace and add cabinets, tile, lighting, etc. Having read the many 5 star reviews of Walnut Creek Fireplace, we were confident we were making the right decision. I signed the contract with Damon in January and unfortunately the work is still not finished (it's now May 12). One of the reasons we chose Walnut Creek Fireplace was that Damon could manage every aspect of the job, fireplace install, cabinets, painting, etc. We accepted the $17,000 bid to transform our living room. Everyone we worked with was great, especially the cabinet designer - Tom Oakes. I got a call from Damon telling me the painter was not available for 2 weeks. I was disappointed, but accepted that schedules change. Damon then suggested another painter who could start in 2 days. But Damon said I would have to pay him directly. I was a little skeptical, but asked Damon if he would hire him in his own home. Damon said he would and that his quality of work is great. That is when the issues started. The painter came 2 days later to paint the cabinets. Unfortunately, after the paint was applied two of the cabinet doors warped. The painter and the cabinet maker point fingers at each blaming the other for the warped doors. Tom was nice enough to make new doors for me FREE of charge. The painter wants to charge me more money to repaint the cabinet doors. I have no choice but to pay him to paint the new doors. I have spent hours on the phone with all parties involved. This is why I hired Damon to manage this project. Unfortunately, we did not receive the 5 star service I read about. I felt like Damon should have done more. We need to replace 1 or 2 more fireplaces in the house, but won't be using Walnut Creek Fireplace again.
We love our new Regency insert from Walnut Creek Fireplace. Our fireplace looks beautiful and keeps the room nice and warm on cold and rainy days. The living room is now my favorite room to hangout and relax.Ryan was super responsive and helpful every step of the way. He was able to come out right away for an estimate and get us scheduled for the install very soon after. I contacted several companies and chose Walnut Creek Fireplace because of their exceptional service and competitive price. Transforming our fireplace was a worthwhile investment.
